We are currently hiring a Customer Assistant to join our team in Okehampton, England, with immediate start available. As a Customer Assistant, you will be the friendly face of our store, providing excellent service to our customers and ensuring a positive shopping experience.
- Assist customers with their inquiries, product selections, and purchases in a courteous and efficient manner.
- Maintain store cleanliness, organize stock, and ensure shelves are well-stocked and appealing.
- Operate checkout tills accurately and handle cash, card transactions, and returns securely.
- Assist with stock replenishment, inventory checks, and store displays to enhance visual appeal.
- Follow health and safety procedures to ensure a safe environment for staff and customers.
- Collaborate with team members to meet sales targets and deliver exceptional customer service.
Skills needed include strong communication, a friendly attitude, and the ability to work efficiently under pressure. Prior retail experience is a plus but not essential. Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends, is preferred.
