We close on acquisitions, restructure entities, and consolidate financials across jurisdictions—all at a pace that would break most finance teams. We need someone who finds that exciting, not exhausting.

You’ll own the mechanisms that let us understand whether the business is performing as expected, why it isn’t when it doesn’t, and where intervention is needed. You’ll turn budgets, actuals, and forecasts into a clear view of performance, and help ensure that the business scales with rigour. If you naturally move from “what happened?” to “why did it happen, and what should we do about it?”, you’ll thrive here.

A few examples of your responsibilities

• Financial controlling and reporting. Own reliable financial reporting across entities, products, and markets. Analyze deviations from budget, forecast, and prior performance—going beyond the numbers to understand their drivers and help teams act on the insights.
• Financial planning and oversight. Track performance against budgets and forecasts, identify risks and opportunities early, and work closely with teams to maintain strong financial discipline.
• Performance management. Define and refine the metrics that matter most. Build a performance management approach where accountability is clear and decisions are grounded in data—with AI-assisted analysis doing the heavy lifting on pattern detection.
• Controls and processes. Design and strengthen financial processes and internal controls, with a bias toward automation and scalability. Simplify workflows, increase reliability, and raise the overall quality of our financial infrastructure.

For a candidate that we assess as possessing considerable relevant experience, the salary on offer tends to be between £112,189 and £250,512 in London, and €107,837 and €188,848 elsewhere in Europe. Compensation varies by location and expected impact, and grows rapidly as you gain experience and translate it into greater contributions. For individuals who demonstrate exceptional capability, we may offer compensation that extends beyond the usual ranges to reflect their higher expected impact. If you’re offered a permanent contract, you’ll also be able receive some of your pay in company equity at a discounted price, thus participating in the value creation we achieve together. If relocating to Italy, you may enjoy a 50% tax cut.

The selection process
In our screening process, we prioritize verifiable signals of excellence, regardless of seniority. Some people hold back because they feel they lack experience or have an “imperfect” CV. If you like the role and believe you could excel over time, don’t self-reject.
