A bit about the role
To help support the continued growth of Clubforce in the UK and Irish sports market, we’re looking for a target-driven Business Development Representative to supplement our sales team as we continue to roll-out our refreshed platform.
The role will focus on building and managing a consistent pipeline of new business across the UK and Ireland. You’ll be researching and engaging sports clubs to introduce the platform and its benefits, prospecting and qualifying leads, booking and delivering product demos, and ultimately closing new business.
This is a performance-focused role with clear activity and revenue targets, requiring strong organisation and self-motivation. You will be fully responsible for maintaining accurate records in our CRM, tracking all activity from initial contact through to close, and ensuring data is kept up to date to support forecasting and reporting.
Flexibility in terms of working hours will be required as the majority of our customers are led by volunteers.
A bit about you
There are some core things that we’re looking for in this role: you’ll be an outgoing and confident person with a track record for making things happen. You’ll be performance focused, target-driven and someone who can build good rapport easily over the phone and in-person.
You’ll have a good understanding and empathy with sports club volunteers as well as a drive to find and engage potential customers. Ideally, you will have a keen interest and understanding of the Irish or UK sports scene.
This role would suit someone with an existing network in grassroots sport – for example, a club volunteer, league secretary, scout or someone involved with a national or regional governing body. For the right person we are flexible in terms of part-time or full-time.
You’ll need to be flexible to contact sports club volunteers at the times that suit them, generally outside of normal working hours.
