An innovative organisation in the cloud and ICT services space is looking for a Senior Cloud Engineer. This critical role focuses on delivering enterprise-grade cloud products and services, ensuring the evolution of hybrid cloud solutions for a diverse customer base.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Deliver technical architectures across hyperconverged infrastructure, native virtualisation, and backup systems.
- Take ownership of specific technology domains within the enterprise cloud space to drive innovation.
- Define best practices for cloud adoption through the creation of standardised cloud patterns and frameworks.
- Collaborate with Cloud Operations and Innovation teams to improve the delivery and speed of cloud services.
- Provide operational assistance to delivery teams and evaluate new products to ensure seamless service transitions.
What We’re Looking For
- Extensive knowledge of VMware vSphere and modern virtualisation technologies.
- Proven experience with NetApp Storage All Flash Arrays and Dell EMC Storage (VNX, Unity, PowerVault).
- Strong background in configuring and deploying shared and private cloud infrastructure.
- Experience working within a Managed Services or Cloud Provider environment.
- Solid understanding of the ITIL Framework and enterprise support environments.
