An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Full-time Band 6 Clinical Studies Officer to join the Neuroprogressive and Dementia Network (NDN) within NHS Lothian. The role is very suited to those with experience as Research Assistants, Clinical Trials Assistants or Research Nurses. This post offers the chance to become part of a dedicated research delivery team based at the Western General Hospital. The team is actively involved in the coordination and delivery of a diverse portfolio of clinical trials across a range of neurodegenerative conditions, including Parkinson’s disease, Alzheimer’s disease, dementia with Lewy bodies, progressive supranuclear palsy, mild cognitive impairment, vascular dementia, and Huntington’s disease.The NHS Lothian NDN team forms part of a Scotland-wide research delivery network funded by the Chief Scientist Office.
