The Role
We are looking for a Sales Account Assistant to join our friendly and fast-paced team.
This is a varied and people-focused role, working closely with both our clients and internal sales team. You will play a key part in building strong relationships, supporting sales activity, and ensuring our customers receive a consistently high level of service.
This role would suit someone who is naturally approachable, enthusiastic, and confident in communicating with others, with a genuine passion for delivering great customer experiences.
Key Responsibilities
- Act as a key point of contact for trade account clients, building and maintaining strong relationships
- Handle customer enquiries, assist with order processing, and provide after-sales support
- Support the sales team with day-to-day tasks and client communications
- Prepare monthly sales reports and assist with basic analysis
- Research and compile trend reports for upcoming seasons
- Manage administrative tasks including updating spreadsheets, tracking orders, and liaising with suppliers
- Assist with raising sales orders (SOs), monitoring progress, and handling returns where required
Skills and Experience Required
- A positive, proactive attitude with strong interpersonal skills
- Confident communicator who enjoys speaking with clients and building rapport
- Highly organised with the ability to multitask and prioritise in a busy environment
- Good attention to detail and problem-solving ability
- Experience with administration and invoicing preferred
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, Word)
- Able to work both independently and as part of a team
- Strong numerical and analytical skills
- Jewellery industry experience is advantageous but not essential
