Role Description The Businesses Community Engagement Officer is a full-time, on-site role based in the London Area, United Kingdom. In this role, you will build and maintain relationships with businesses, community organizations, and partners to promote LoveSign Hub’s services and mission. You will plan and deliver outreach activities, events, and campaigns that increase awareness of BSL training, Deaf Awareness, and interpreting services, as well as highlight the career network for Deaf professionals. You will collaborate with internal teams to collect feedback from partners, identify opportunities for new initiatives, and support the development of accessible, inclusive programs for employers. You will also prepare reports, track engagement metrics, and contribute to proposals or presentations that strengthen partnerships and demonstrate impact.
Qualifications

• Strong interpersonal skills and communication abilities to build trust, listen actively, and represent LoveSign Hub with professionalism.
• Experience in community engagement and stakeholder engagement, ideally working with businesses, nonprofits, or local organizations.
• Project management skills to plan, coordinate, and deliver outreach activities, events, and initiatives on time and within scope.
• Understanding of, or strong interest in, Deaf culture, accessibility, and inclusion; familiarity with BSL or willingness to learn is highly beneficial.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively, manage multiple priorities, and adapt to the needs of diverse communities and partners.
• Previous experience in community outreach, partnerships, or business development, preferably within education, social impact, or disability inclusion sectors.
• Relevant qualification or equivalent experience in communications, community development, social sciences, or a related field.
