About the Role
The Business Support Partner role in Telford is a full-time, temporary position lasting approximately three months, with a hybrid working pattern requiring three days per week in the office. The hourly rate ranges from £23.51 to £24.92. Acting as a trusted partner to the Director and senior leadership team, you will coordinate, monitor, and deliver strategic and operational activities. Responsibilities include governance, compliance, reporting, and continuous improvement. You will track business activities, identify risks, escalate issues, and manage policy reviews, risk registers, and governance meetings. This position demands strong organisational skills and the ability to ensure priorities are delivered effectively and on schedule.

You’ll play a crucial role in governance, compliance, reporting, and continuous improvement, ensuring priorities are delivered effectively and on time.Key ResponsibilitiesPartner with senior leadership to ensure strategic priorities are delivered efficiently.Monitor business activities, track progress, identify risks, and escalate issues where required.Manage governance processes, including policy reviews, risk registers, and governance meetings.Prepare agendas, action trackers, reports, and board/committee documentation.Coordinate audit schedules and monitor follow-up actions.Identify opportunities to improve systems, workflows, and operational processes.Support business continuity planning and compliance activities.Track key operational metrics and ensure adherence to organisational policies and procedures.Build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders to drive positive outcomes.What We’re Looking ForPrevious experience in a business support, business partnering, or operational support role.Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.Excellent attention to detail and experience maintaining accurate documentation and reports.Confident stakeholder management and influencing skillsStrong analytical and problem-solving abilities.Strong communicationProficiency in Microsoft Office and document management systems such as SharePoint.Desirable ExperienceKnowledge of governance frameworks, risk management, and compliance processes.
