An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Business Support Officer (Level 2) to provide a dedicated business support function to the Early Help team, which is part of the Children’s Directorate.

The Main Duties Of The Role

• Providing administrative support to various teams within Early Help and the Complex Safeguarding hub when required, including working with Early Help Practitioners, Police, Social Workers and other teams. You will complete a variety of tasks that include taking minutes in multi-agency meetings to processing service referrals and providing data to senior managers
• You will be updating records and dealing with finance using our systems ensuring that all date is kept securely always adhering to council policies.
• Provide support to Management and contribute to the accurate production of data/relevant information required for statutory and non-statutory means.
• Using initiative to resolve queries within agreed timescales and to a high standard as it has a direct impact on the lives of children, young people and their families.
• Attention to detail is key, be able to prioritise your work, manage your time and be able to adhere to strict deadlines and follow procedures.
• Communication with a variety of both internal and external partners.
