Role: Business Consultant Intern

Location: Remote

Working Hours: 10-12 hours per week.

Eligibility: Open exclusively for students or recent graduates.

About Us

Blackmont Consulting is a student-led consulting organisation established in 2020 that supports client projects through structured analysis and research. Project teams work on defined business cases focused on performance improvement and decision support.

Consulting team members collaborate on assigned projects with multidisciplinary teams and contribute to research, analysis, and client deliverables.

Key duties include:

Consultants will be working in teams of 6-8 to tackle real-world business problems over the course of the project.

· Market trends, predictions and suggestions.

· Develop solutions for complex client situations to ensure the meeting of goals and objectives and deliver results on time.

· Development of primary research sources among industry contacts, customers, suppliers, and competitors of the companies you are researching.

· Understand sector, currency, political, and regulatory risks where applicable.

· Financial analysis and modelling of companies under your coverage.

· Analysing financial performance, returns on capital and valuation.

· Determine, develop, and deliver innovative strategies and tools to target new and current clients.

· Take charge of identifying information sources, gathering, and interpreting data, executing analysis, and presenting findings to case team members and client stakeholders.

Requirements

· Be through your first, second or last year at university. Master’s and PhD students are also accepted.

· Ability to commit to this position for a minimum of three months.
