Bookkeeper & Operations Administrator — Fusion Solar UK Part-time | Remote | £16–18/hr depending on experience
About us
Fusion Solar UK is a growing solar energy business specialising in residential and commercial solar PV installations, battery storage, maintenance, and repairs. We’re building something great and need a smart, organised person to help keep the engine running behind the scenes.
The role
This is a varied, hands-on position that sits at the heart of our operations. You’ll be the person who keeps the books clean, the admin tidy, and our customer pipeline moving. If you love having real ownership of your work and keeping things running smoothly, you’ll thrive here.
What you’ll be doing
- Bookkeeping — invoicing, reconciliation, expenses, and VAT returns via Xero
- Managing job admin and scheduling through ServiceM8
- Handling inbound customer enquiries and pre-qualifying leads via Go High Level CRM
- Assisting with DNO/National Grid connection applications using Instool
- Supporting compliance paperwork for each installation job
- Helping with solar system design admin via OpenSolar
- General business admin — emails, supplier comms, document management
What we’re looking for
- Solid bookkeeping experience — AAT qualified or QBE considered
- Comfortable on the phone and confident speaking with customers
- Experience with Xero essential; familiarity with ServiceM8, Go High Level, Instool or OpenSolar a real advantage
- Highly organised with strong attention to detail
- Self-motivated — this is a remote role and you’ll manage your own time
- Experience in a trades, construction, or renewables business is a real bonus
Hours & growth
Part Time with with flexible full time hours to suit the right candidate — we care about output, not clock-watching. This role has real room to grow. As Fusion Solar UK scales, hours and responsibility will expand with it. We also operate across other businesses, meaning the right person could build a broader portfolio of work over time.
Pay: £24,420.00-£42,814.09 per year
