The Role
Specialist Biomedical Scientist working within the Haematology/Blood Transfusion Department at the Queen Elizabeth University Hospital Laboratories in Glasgow. The post is at AFC Band 6 and requires HCPC registration. The role involves contributing to a UKASaccredited service that complies with MHRA Blood Safety and Quality Regulations.
Duration, Location, and Working Pattern:
Location: Queen Elizabeth University Hospital Laboratories, Glasgow (Haematology Department).
Hours: 36 hours per week.
Work pattern: Participation in a 7day shift system, including evenings, weekends and overnight duties once fully trained.
