The Role
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Bioinformatician to join the Laboratory Genetics department within NHS Greater Glasgow and Clyde, based at the state of the art Queen Elizabeth University Hospital. This role sits at the heart of genomic diagnostics, supporting high quality, patient focused care through the development and delivery of advanced bioinformatic pipelines. Working within one of the largest genetics laboratories in Scotland, you will contribute to services supporting patients across the West of Scotland and beyond. NHSGGC offers a collaborative, forward thinking environment where innovation, learning and professional development are actively encouraged. You will work closely with highly experienced scientific, clinical and IT colleagues within a large and complex diagnostic service. This role offers the opportunity to make a tangible impact on patient outcomes while developing specialist expertise in genomic bioinformatics.
