Duties
- Assist in the planning and execution of community outreach events and fundraising activities.
- Support project management tasks by coordinating schedules, resources, and volunteer efforts.
- Educate community members about public health initiatives and available resources.
- Supervise volunteers during events to ensure smooth operations and provide guidance as needed.
- Manage social media accounts by creating engaging content to market our programmes and events.
- Perform administrative tasks such as data entry, record keeping, and maintaining volunteer schedules.
- Collaborate with team members to develop strategies for effective community engagement.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in public health or related fields is advantageous but not mandatory.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and supervise a team of volunteers.
- Excellent project management skills with an organised approach to task completion.
- Proficient in social media management and marketing techniques to enhance outreach efforts.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to educate diverse audiences.
