About the Role

We are looking for a technically adept and collaborative Automotive Product Engineer to support the delivery of Radioplayer’s automotive products and integrations. The role will focus on coordination across OEM and partner activities, technical follow-up, issue management, launch readiness, and product support for automotive projects.

You will work closely with internal Product, Engineering, QA, and Partnerships teams, as well as external automotive partners, to support the integration of Radioplayer’s connected radio metadata APIs, broadcast radio services (DAB+, FM, AM), IP-based streaming services, and automotive SDK into OEM infotainment platforms. The role combines product coordination, technical understanding, and stakeholder management across multiple parallel automotive activities.

Key Responsibilities

• Support delivery coordination across automotive products, integrations, and partner activities
• Support OEM and partner onboarding, follow-up, and launch preparation
• Coordinate project milestones, dependencies, risks, and actions across internal teams and external stakeholders
• Support technical integration work related to Radioplayer metadata APIs, automotive SDK, broadcast radio services (DAB+, FM, AM), and IP streaming in automotive environments
• Help manage and resolve partner-reported technical issues, including investigation, follow-up, and coordination with internal teams
• Support launch readiness, testing coordination, validation activities, and delivery follow-up
• Contribute to quality reporting and issue follow-up for automotive partners
• Develop and maintain technical and product documentation, integration guides, and internal coordination materials
• Act as a key interface between internal teams and automotive partners on delivery and product-related matters
• Participate in partner meetings, technical workshops, and cross-functional delivery reviews

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Product Development, or a related technical field
• 3+ years of experience in product coordination, technical project delivery, solution engineering, product integration, or a similar role
• Experience with Android Automotive OS, AOSP, Linux-based systems, and/ or related automotive infotainment platforms
• Experience with automotive infotainment systems, including integration of broadcast radio services (DAB+, FM, AM) and IP-based streaming platforms
• Strong knowledge of RESTful APIs, JSON, cloud-based services, and API testing tools such as Postman or Swagger
• Experience working with technical products and cross-functional delivery teams
• Good understanding of project coordination, issue management, and stakeholder communication
• Strong organisational, communication, and problem-solving skills
• Experience using JIRA, Confluence, or similar project and documentation tools

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with AAOS app integration, testing, certification, or launch activities
• Understanding of broadcast metadata standards such as RadioDNS, RDS, DLS, or PAD
• Experience working with OEMs, suppliers, or external B2B partners
• Experience supporting validation and release processes in complex product environments
• Familiarity with software development lifecycle processes and Agile ways of working

Reporting Line

This role reports to the Head of Products.
