The Department

Our Immigration Group advises both corporate and private clients across a diverse range of sectors including financial, pharmaceutical, media, legal, technology, creative industries, sports and fashion. We provide results-focused advice with an awareness of the nuances applicable to each industry and immigration category. We have a track record of delivering outcomes in a whole range of different circumstances, from the day-to-day management of a client’s global immigration needs, to more complex applications.

We have decades of experience looking after HNW clients. Their requirements are always specific and often unusual but invariably they focus on speed of decision and ability to travel freely. Our focus is to provide the highest levels of bespoke services to the most discerning international client base. For this we have a multinational team which is equipped with all the cultural and linguistic fluency that our clients expect.

Our Immigration Group also works closely with colleagues who advise on Tax and Wealth Planning, Real Estate, Reputation Management, Family and Employment law so that we provide integrated and innovative solutions.

In addition to advising on the full spectrum of UK immigration law, we also advise clients on their US immigration needs, providing comprehensive transatlantic immigration services for companies and individuals.

Duties And Responsibilities

The role will involve advising on the following:

• Advising HNW and UNHW clients in respect of their UK immigration options.
• Advising clients wishing to establish a business in the UK.
• Advising on various work based visa categories.
• Advising companies on all aspects of sponsor licencing, Home Office compliance and right to work checks.
• Global Talent, innovator and start-up visa applications.
• Applications for EU Nationals under the EU Settlement Scheme.
• Applications for Indefinite Leave to Remain in the UK.
• Applications for British Citizenship – often involving the exercise of discretion.
• Asylum, humanitarian protection and human rights claims.
• Strategic immigration advice.

Skills/Experience

• 1-3 PQE gained within immigration law.
