Role Overview

We are hiring for one of our clients for an Assistant Manager in a fast-paced Italian restaurant environment. This role supports the General Manager in leading daily operations, delivering excellent guest experiences, and driving team performance.

You will play a key leadership role on shift, ensuring smooth service, strong team coordination, and consistent delivery of brand and operational standards while supporting business growth and guest satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead shifts with confidence, energy, and operational control
• Deliver exceptional guest experiences aligned with brand standards
• Support daily restaurant operations including staffing, scheduling, and stock control
• Drive sales performance through upselling, promotions, and KPI delivery
• Ensure compliance with health & safety, food hygiene, and company policies
• Coach, mentor, and develop team members to improve performance and engagement
• Coordinate effectively between front-of-house and kitchen teams
• Handle guest feedback and resolve issues professionally
• Promote a positive, inclusive, and high-performance team culture
• Support continuous improvement in service quality and operations

Required Qualifications & Experience

• Previous experience as a Supervisor, Team Leader, or Assistant Manager in hospitality
• Strong understanding of restaurant operations and guest service delivery
• Proven leadership and team management skills
• Commercial awareness with experience delivering against KPIs
• Strong communication and decision-making abilities
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, customer-focused environment
• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and bank holidays
• Passion for hospitality and guest experience
