About The Role
This is an exceptional opportunity for an ambitious civil engineer technician at the beginning of your career to accelerate your skills within a complex, operational port environment. You’ll work on diverse infrastructure projects ranging from quayside structures and pavements to drainage systems and utilities – all within a live, 24/7 operational setting that presents unique engineering challenges.
As a Civil Engineering Technician, you’ll take genuine ownership of projects from inception through to completion, supported by our experienced Engineering leadership team. This isn’t a graduate training scheme – you’ll be managing real projects with budgets, programmes, and contractor interfaces from day one.
Typical Projects Include
This role requires regular site presence across the Port of Tilbury estate. Due to the operational nature of the port environment, regular remote working is not available. You must be within commutable distance of Tilbury.
