Salary: £28,959 per annum
Permanent 35 hours per week, Monday – Friday 9am to 5pm
We believe everyone should have a safe and affordable place to call home. It’s this belief that drives everything we do and inspires us to go above and beyond for our customers. We pride ourselves in understanding their needs and delivering the best customer service, every time.
We’re also proud to be at the forefront of change. We’re on a journey of transformation, finding new ways to support our customers – and our people.
If you’re looking for a career where you can learn new skills, try new things and shape your future, there’s a place for you at Accent.
About The Role
As an Assets & Compliance Coordinator, you’ll support the Customer Safety team to help keep our customers safe and proud of their homes. You’ll play a key role in delivering planned and cyclical works programmes, ensuring high standards of compliance and contributing to improved customer satisfaction.
Your role will include producing KPI reports, administering audit certificates, updating housing management systems, and coordinating access with customers and contractors for safety checks such as gas servicing and fire door inspections. You’ll attend contractor meetings, take minutes, and process payments in line with contract requirements.
You’ll work closely with colleagues across multiple departments and external contractors, helping to keep work running smoothly, records accurate, and deadlines met. Strong communication skills, good organisation, and the ability to prioritise are essential. Experience in compliance, customer safety, contractors, or housing management systems would be beneficial.
This is a great opportunity to gain broad exposure across social housing within a supportive team, doing work that truly matters.
Salary
The spot salary for this post is £28,959 per annum for applicants who fully meet the requirements of the post. If you’re still developing some of the skills or experience, you can start at a salary 5% or 10% below the spot rate, with clear support and progression opportunities to reach the full amount.
About You
You’ll have strong administrative and organisational skills, with the ability to manage and prioritise multiple tasks effectively. You’re comfortable producing accurate reports and working collaboratively with a range of stakeholders, with a clear customer focus.
Knowledge of customer safety, experience using housing management systems, and an understanding of invoicing or payment processes would be advantageous, but are not essential.
The successful applicant will be subject to pre‑employment checks, such as DBS and social media screening, before an offer is confirmed.

We want your candidate experience to reflect who we are – a place to grow, a place to thrive, a place to be you.
