MH Goals is one of the UK’s leading sports equipment manufacturers, specialising in producing professional aluminium and steel products as well as bespoke sports netting. Our extensive range includes equipment for Football, Rugby, Hockey, Cricket, Netball, and pitch essentials such as team shelters and ball stop posts. Based in Suffolk, we manufacture in the UK and offer nationwide delivery and installation.
This is a full-time on-site role for a Sales Executive located in the South West of England (Ideally in the Wiltshire, Somerset, Devon area). You will be responsible for generating leads, meeting sales targets, and building relationships with current and prospective clients. Daily tasks include reaching out to potential clients, providing product information, preparing and presenting sales proposals, and negotiating contracts. The role also involves maintaining up-to-date records of sales activities and progress in our SAGE system.
Responsibilities:
· Look after and grow our customer base in the South West of England
· Actively seek out new sales opportunities through site visits, cold calling and networking
· Present, promote, and sell products and services to prospective customers
· Establish, develop, and maintain positive business and customer relationships
· Reach out to customer leads through phone calls and emails
· Attend exhibitions and trade events (SALTEX, BTME, Regional Events)
· Achieve agreed upon sales targets and outcomes
· Coordinate sales effort with team members and other departments
· Produce quotes and process sales orders through our SAGE system
Requirements:
· Ability to negotiate and close sales deals
· Proficiency in IT tools and systems
· Excellent knowledge of English (written and verbal)
· Strong time management skills with the ability to prioritise tasks effectively
· Previous experience in sales or customer service is preferred
· Knowledge of the market place whether this be grounds maintenance or sports equipment is a plus
· Customer service-oriented with a drive for results
· Excellent communication skills with the ability to build rapport with customers
· Full UK diving licence

Please note this is an in the field role with the expectation that the successful candidate will be based in the South West of England with access to a suitable work space at home. It will be expected that you would be out on the road for most of the week where overnight stays might be required.
