We’re looking for an enthusiastic Apprenticeships Officer to join our Apprenticeship compliance team on a full-time basis. This is a fantastic opportunity to contribute to the continued success of BU’s award-winning apprenticeship provision rated Outstanding at our last Ofsted inspection.
About The Role
As an Apprenticeships Officer, you’ll provide day-to-day operational and administrative assistance across the full apprenticeship lifecycle – from admissions and onboarding through to end-point assessment, quality assurance and statutory reporting. You’ll play a key part in ensuring that BU maintains high levels of quality and compliance through clear and positive communication with apprentices, employers and BU colleagues involved in apprenticeship delivery.

What we’re looking for
You’ll bring strong administrative experience, a questioning mind and a keen eye for detail, along with the ability to manage a varied workload and work to deadlines. You will enjoy learning new things, finding solutions and working with people at all levels. Although previous experience of apprenticeships would be an advantage, applications are encouraged from those who have worked in similar compliance environments and/or can demonstrate the ability to quickly familiarise themselves with complex rules and regulations.
This position does not meet the eligibility requirements for sponsorship under the Skilled Worker Route within the UK Visa and Immigration service’s Points Based System.
