We’re looking for an Analyst to join the Commercial Data & Reporting team within the Insights & Analytics (I&A) function at The Telegraph.The Commercial Data & Reporting team is responsible for transforming complex data into reporting outputs that drive performance and meaningful business decisions.This is an exciting opportunity to work in a technical role that supports and shapes how data is used across the Commercial organisation at The Telegraph.Key Responsibilities Become a subject matter expert in Commercial data and reportingGather and interpret requirements from stakeholders to inform effective data solutionsBuild and maintain SQL pipelines to turn raw data into clean and actionable datasetsCreate self-serve dashboards and reporting outputs in Google Data Studio and Google SheetsPartner with Technology teams to ingest and validate new data sourcesInvestigate and resolve data issues that occur across our data environmentsAdopt a continuous improvement mindset to optimise and innovate team processesRequirementsWorking knowledge of SQLStrong analytical and critical thinking skills, with an enthusiasm for problem solvingInquisitive about data and how it can be applied in a commercial contextAn adaptable and resilient approach to evolving and challenging data environmentsExcellent at technical and non-technical communicationBenefitsThe nature of our industry means life at the Telegraph Media Group is fast-paced, demanding, and interesting.
