As the Head of Department, you will lead and manage the service delivery of the administrative team who are committed to delivering the highest quality administrative outcomes in a supported environment. You will manage the following areas: reception, outpatient bookings, medical records and the local teams telephony functionality.
The role will involve engagement with a wide range of stakeholders including patients, clinical professionals and Heads of Department and staff. Key objectives are to deliver a strong customer focused service across all the areas of responsibility, plus contributing to the overall improvement of patient experience across the hospital. We ideally want someone who is committed to maximising the opportunities to create a positive impact for our service users at every contact touch point, whether that be face to face, e-mail or telephone.
We are focused on utilising analytical tools and technology to improve our service efficiency and customer access. To build on this we are seeking someone with knowledge and skills that demonstrates how they have managed to use different techniques to improve services that maximise business opportunities.
