In this key role, you will deliver a highly responsive and professional adaptations service for residents with disabilities, ensuring all works are completed to a high standard, within agreed timescales and budgets, with the customer at the heart of everything you do.You will survey properties requiring adaptation, assess suitability and feasibility and identify any building defects that may impact proposed works. Working closely with Occupational Therapists and other professionals, you will produce detailed specifications and AutoCAD drawings for tender, manage contractors on site, monitor performance against KPIs, and oversee projects through to satisfactory completion.This is an opportunity to play a vital role in improving independence and quality of life for Haringey residents through well designed, safe, and compliant home adaptations.About The TeamOur Adaptations Team sits within Adult Social Services and is a collaborative, supportive and solutions focused service. We work closely with service users, carers, Occupational Therapists, contractors and partner agencies to deliver tailored adaptations that meet individual needs. The team is committed to continuous improvement, high professional standards and sharing best practice, ensuring consistently positive outcomes for residents and their families.About YouYou will bring strong technical expertise, excellent organisational skills and a customer focused approach.
