About the Role

This is a key role in the EU/UK Financial Operations team, bringing together operational and accounts payable knowledge and experience to ensure that all aspects for all invoice types, the processes are completed in a timely and accurate manner. The team member will ensure that the workflow of processes are managed, tasks / systems are improved where appropriate, and the team are providing a high level of customer service to both internal and external customers. Managing and holding the outsourced team accountable at WNS will be key to the success of the role.

Skills & Experience

• Expertise in Business Travel sector and an understanding of product types and customer needs e.g. Hotel, Car Hire
• Experience in working with cross functional teams
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in high volume transaction environment
• The ability to work with offshore support and drive the best value from this team
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills

Key Responsibilities

• Completion of processes relating to supplier payments
• Maintenance of vendor accounts, allocations and reconciliations of postings
• Responding to queries, issues and actions received within a timely manner
• Ownership and point of contact for the end-to-end vendor payment process, ensuring compliance with company policies and adhering to SLAs
• Collaboration with Operations to ensure SLAs are met and address escalations
• Preparation and review of all KPI’s for the function and management of these to improve performance over time
• Ensuring SLAs are prepared and met by the outsourced WNS team
• Support the annual audit process, preparing relevant documentation as requested
• Collaboration with internal stakeholder departments
• Contribute to system and process enhancements

What to expect from the recruitment process

• Every hire starts with a chat with our Talent Acquisition team, if your profile is selected you will be contacted by phone or email (please check your spam folder);
• Then, if you are progressing, the hiring manager will invite you to an interview, usually on Teams;
• If you are successful we will invite you to our office for a final stage interview.

Wherever possible we will provide you with feedback, however we are a small team and often we won’t be able to do so until after we fill the vacancy.
