About The Role

We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Accounts Receivable (AR) Analyst to join our team on a contractual basis. The successful candidate will play a vital role in managing the recording of Accounts Receivable, ensuring accuracy and timeliness, and acting as a key link between various internal stakeholders within our commercial business and accounting operations. This role requires a strong focus on maintaining precise AR activity, resolving discrepancies promptly, supporting cash flow management, and fostering clear communication and documentation across teams. The AR Analyst will be instrumental in managing accounts receivable balances effectively, aligning with group balance sheet targets, and ensuring the smooth operation of financial processes within the organization.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
• Proven experience (minimum 2 years) in accounts receivable, finance, or a similar role.
• Strong understanding of accounting principles and AR processes.
• Excellent analytical skills with keen attention to detail.
• Proficiency in financial software and ERP systems, preferably SAP or Oracle.
• Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Manage and maintain accurate recording of Accounts Receivable transactions, including invoicing, reconciliations, and aging reports to ensure data integrity.
• Utilize AR data to identify discrepancies, potential risks, and follow-up actions required to facilitate timely resolution.
• Collaborate daily with internal stakeholders such as Client Coverage and Inside Sales teams to resolve AR discrepancies and promote seamless communication.
• Work closely with the Order-to-Cash Team to ensure process alignment and smooth daily operations.
• Monitor outstanding receivables and communicate proactively with clients to expedite payments and resolve overdue accounts.
• Support cash flow management by providing accurate receivable data and forecasts.
• Maintain detailed documentation of all AR activities, correspondence, and resolution efforts for audit and reporting purposes.
• Assist in month-end closing activities related to accounts receivable and contribute to financial reporting accuracy.
• Identify opportunities for process improvements within the AR function and recommend best practices.
