Working hours: 8:30am – 4:30pm (Monday to Friday)

Contract type: Long term, temporary, full time

Leader Education are delighted to be recruiting for a committed and compassionate Learning Mentor to join a successful and well-established SEND school with a strong, supportive community ethos.

This specialist setting provides exceptional education for children and young people aged 2–19, catering to a wide range of additional needs including autism, complex learning difficulties, communication differences, social, emotional and mental health needs, and physical disabilities.

About You

• Previous experience working with children or young people, ideally within a SEND or care-focused environment
• A solid understanding of diverse learning needs and a genuine passion for inclusive education
• Strong relationship-building skills, with the ability to create trust and rapport
• A calm, patient, and nurturing approach in all situations
• A proactive commitment to safeguarding and supporting the wellbeing of students
• Experience working with individuals with autism or complex needs (advantageous)
