An opportunity has arisen for an Administrative Assistant to work within the Wheelchair Delivery Repair and Refurbishment Services (WDRRS), part of the SMART cetnre’s Wheelchair Service (). WDRRS is based at the Community Equipment Service Store, Peffermill, Edinburgh.
The position is for 4 days a week, on week days. The service is flexible as to what days work for the successful candidate.
The SMART provides highly specialised clinical rehabilitation technology services across the southeast of Scotland.
The successful candidate will with the support of the Team Lead and Service Manager, provide comprehensive administrative support to the Wheelchair Delivery, Repair and Refurbishment Service. Assist with the processing deliveries, repairs, collections, safety checks and refurbishment of manual and powered wheelchairs within Edinburgh, Lothian, Scottish Boarders and Fife. Undertake copying, filing, photocopying and scanning.
We are looking for an individual who has a positive attitude, is flexible and motivated. You need to be able to remain calm in stressful situations. As well as having an ability to work on your own, you need to be able to work as part of a team and share knowledge and learning.
