We’re now looking for an experienced, proactive and client focused individual to join our brilliant Client Relationship Team. You’ll play a vital role in delivering a first-class experience for every client and supporting our existing team. This role combines front-of-house responsibilities with essential back-office operations, making it perfect for someone who enjoys variety, structure and making a difference.

What You’ll Be Doing:

• Building & Maintaining Client Relationships: Be a warm, professional first point of contact for clients whether in person, on the phone or by email. Build strong connections and lasting relationships, ensuring our clients always feel valued and fully supported.
• Client Journey Support: You’ll be at the heart of the client experience from start to finish. That means helping to onboard new clients, supporting existing ones, booking and managing meetings, and making sure all enquiries – big or small – are responded to promptly and professionally. Whether it’s the first contact or the tenth annual review, you’ll be making sure the Penguin experience feels personal every time.
• Operational Excellence: From managing diaries and preparing meeting packs to maintaining accurate CRM data, you’ll ensure everything runs like clockwork. You’ll also look after front of house duties, welcoming visitors, handling post and keeping our reception area tidy, professional and inviting.
• Project & Systems Support: You’ll play an active role in keeping our systems sharp and our service efficient. That means accurate data entry, following internal processes, supporting wider team projects, and contributing ideas to help us improve how we work and serve our clients.

About You:

• You have experience in both client-facing and administrative roles, ideally within Financial services, professional services or a similar environment.
• You are a clear communicator who genuinely cares about making a difference to clients and you bring positivity to your work every day.
• You are organised, proactive and detail focused, with a strong sense of ownership and pride in delivering high-quality work.
• You are tech-savvy and comfortable with Microsoft Office and digital tools, and you’re keen to embrace new technologies, including AI, as we continue to evolve.
• You are open to change, enthusiastic about learning and love solving problems as they arise.
• You bring hands-on experience using CRM platforms (any platform) and understand the importance of accurate data and reporting.
• You are a true team player. Dependable, supportive and always ready to roll up your sleeves. No task is too big or too small; whether it’s jumping in to help a colleague meet a tight deadline or restocking the printer paper, you’re the kind of person who simply gets things done.
