You will work alongside a team of engineers and test specialists assisting in the wider management and coordination of test & evaluation under both civil and military approval schemes.What You’ll DoHolistically manage flight safety across all flying operations within the United Kingdom and Europe, playing a key role in the development and maintenance of an Engaged Air Safety Culture across the organizationBuild and maintain air system safety cases in support of developmental and operational test & evaluation activitiesLead in establishing appropriate SQEP levels and crew standards for air and ground personnelCoordinate and/or deliver flight and ground crew trainingAssist in the coordination and delivery of test & evaluation activities within the UK and overseasWhere qualified, assist with the conduct of flight test & evaluation in operational rolesAct in a Post Holder capacity under civil and military flying regulationsRequired QualificationsExcellent verbal & written communication skillsA sincere commitment to a positive, inclusive, and collaborative culturePrevious experience in a flight safety or standards management positionPrevious experience in a crew training environment in a delivery or management capacitySignificant knowledge and understanding of UK airspace and UAS regulationKnowledge and understanding of UK MAA Regulatory Publications and their air safety requirementsKnowledge and understanding of UK CAA UAS regulation and their air safety requirementsStrong communication and interpersonal skillsAptitude for building internal and external relationships, and utilizing these connections in the pursuit of product excellence and mission successAbility to own a variety of tasks in an autonomous environmentAble to work extended hours as requiredAbility to travel 25-50% of the timeValid driver’s licenseAbility to obtain a UK Security Check (SC) clearance or higherPreferred QualificationsExperience managing and developing teams in aviation environmentsExperience within developmental and operational test & evaluation organizationsAircrew experience within rotary wing military aviationAbility to get and maintain a GVC (multi-rotor and fixed-wing)RC pilot experience on both multi-rotor and fixed-wing in the Open and Specific CategoriesUK Salary Range£75,000—£100,000 GBPHealthcare BenefitsThe salary range for this role is an estimate based on a wide range of compensation factors, inclusive of base salary only.
