Taproom Manager

Our Taproom sits at the heart of that. It’s not just a bar — it’s our brand brought to life.
We’re looking for a Taproom Manager who will take full ownership of the space, raise standards, and drive performance — not just maintain it.
The Role
You are accountable for the taproom. That means standards, team, sales, and experience — every day, every shift.
The taproom is currently open Wednesday and Friday evenings and Saturday. A key part of this role is to maximise these trading windows and identify opportunities to extend opening where it makes commercial sense.
This is a hands-on leadership role. You’ll lead from the front, set the pace, and make things happen.
What you’ll own
Deliver a consistently outstanding experience
Set and maintain high standards across service, cleanliness, atmosphere, and brand execution — no drift, no excuses.
Lead and develop the team
Recruit, train, and manage a tight, high-performing FOH team. Create clarity, accountability, and energy on every shift.
Drive sales and performance
Own venue revenue, staffing efficiency, and profitability. You know your numbers and act on them.
Make the taproom a destination
Plan and execute events that bring people in and keep them coming back — with clear commercial impact.
Own the operation end-to-end
From bar to stock to webshop fulfilment — you ensure everything runs properly, every time.
This includes our food offering: we currently have a pizza kitchen, and you will be responsible for reinvigorating it or securing the right food partner to help turn the taproom into a complete destination.
Bring the brand to life
Be a confident ambassador for Round Corner Brewing — in person, on tours, and in how the taproom shows up day-to-day.
Work closely with Marketing
Partner with our Marketing & Activations Lead to deliver campaigns, events, and in-taproom activation to a high standard.
Build for the future
Help create a taproom model that can scale beyond the brewery.
What we’re looking for
- Proven experience running a busy bar, taproom, or hospitality venue
- Delivers on commitments — do what you say you will do, without the need for reminders
- Someone who takes ownership — you don’t wait to be told
- High standards and attention to detail — you notice what others miss
- Commercial awareness — you understand how to drive revenue and control costs
- Strong leadership — you set expectations and follow through
- Energy, pace, and a bias for action
- A genuine interest in beer and hospitality

This isn’t a passive management role.
