About the Role
We are looking for a proactive and detail-oriented Office Administrator with basic accounting knowledge and a keen interest in short-let property management to join our leading Interior Design Practice.
In this role, you will play a vital part in ensuring smooth day-to-day operations, coordinating effectively between our headquarters and local branch offices. Strong communication skills, organizational ability, and a hands-on approach are essential, as you’ll be supporting both administrative and financial functions while contributing to the management of our short-let property portfolio.

Key Responsibilities
Office Administration
Manage day-to-day office operations, correspondence, filing systems, and record-keeping.
Handle scheduling, meeting coordination, and communication with both HQ and local branch staff.
Maintain office supplies, equipment, and vendor relationships.
Support HR-related functions such as attendance tracking, leave management, and onboarding support.
Accounting Support
Assist with basic bookkeeping and financial record management.
Prepare and process invoices, receipts, vouchers, and petty cash.
Track expenses, reconcile accounts, and support accounts payable/receivable.
Assist the finance team with month-end and quarterly reporting.
Short-Let Property Management
Support property listings and updates on booking platforms.
Assist with guest communication, check-in/out coordination, and customer support.
Coordinate with cleaning teams, maintenance vendors, and service providers.
Help monitor occupancy rates, guest feedback, and service quality to enhance the customer experience.
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Accounting, Commerce, or related field.
1–3 years of experience in office administration or customer service.
Basic knowledge of accounting principles and bookkeeping practices.
Strong communication skills, with the ability to liaise effectively between HQ and local branch offices.
Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook); familiarity with accounting software (e.g., Tally, QuickBooks, Xero) is an advantage.
Excellent organizational, multitasking, and time management abilities.
Interest in short-let property management and working in a diverse, multicultural environment.
Preferred Skills
Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
Problem-solving and customer service mindset.
Prior experience in property, hospitality, or service-based industries is a plus.
Flexibility and adaptability in a fast-paced environment.
Salary & Benefits
£25,000 – £28,000 per annum (depending on skills and experience)
