About CipherX TechnologiesCipherX is a London-based biotech startup pioneering next-generation microneedle technologies for consumer, cosmetic, and medical applications. Our first product, the MicroDot Tattoo Patch, introduces an entirely new way of applying tattoos: painless, safe, and expanding what tattoos can be. It represents the first step toward a broader platform of skin-based technologies designed to enable self-expression, skin health, and advanced medical delivery systems.The RoleAs we transition from product R&D into market launch we are looking for a mid-to-senior level Head of G2M to to build and execute our G2M strategy. This is not a traditional sales role. Instead, the position focuses on building the commercial systems (partnerships, digital commerce, social media marketing, retail presence, community activation, and brand collaborations) required to bring a novel product category to market across subculture communities and beauty & fashion channels, while helping shape a new cultural narrative around tattooing. You will work closely with the founders, design team and manufacturing team. The role combines strategy and hands-on execution and is ideal for someone who enjoys building new systems rather than optimizing existing ones in an organisation that combines cutting edge materials R&D with product design and fashion.At CipherX, we build systems, not just outputs. We operate at the intersection of materials science, design, and emerging technologies, and we expect our team to actively leverage AI, data, and automation as part of their daily work. This includes using AI-assisted tools to accelerate development, building automated and agentic workflows, and working fluently with data and visual assets to inform decisions. The goal is not tool usage itself, but the ability to reduce friction, increase speed, and compound output over time.You do not need to arrive as an expert, but you are expected to learn quickly, adopt new tools pragmatically, and continuously improve how you work. We value individuals who are hands-on, technically curious, and motivated to rethink how work gets done.ResponsibilitiesYou will take ownership of the commercial infrastructure for CipherX products, including:Go-to-Market StrategyDevelop and execute the launch strategy for the MicroDot Tattoo PatchDefine target customer segments and distribution channelsBuild the early commercial roadmap for scaling the categoryCommerce InfrastructureOwn and operate the CipherX Shopify storeDevelop and optimize the digital user experienceCoordinate logistics, fulfilment and customer experienceMarketing & Cultural DistributionOversee social media and digital marketing strategyIdentify cultural channels that can drive product adoptionWork with creators, artists and communities to build brand relevanceCommercial PartnershipsIdentify and develop partnerships with retailers, studios, and strategic collaboratorsExplore distribution opportunities across online and offline channelsCategory DevelopmentIdentify and develop new commercial opportunities, complementary product lines, user experiences and brand collaborations across D2C, B2B, and strategic partnerships to expand the CipherX market footprint.Help shape how this new product category is introduced to the marketIdeal CandidateWe are looking for someone entrepreneurial who enjoys building new commercial systems from scratch. You may come from consumer tech, beauty/cosmetics, lifestyle brands, D2C startups, or early-stage ventures, or bring experience from established organisations and be looking to apply it in a startup setting. You must be able to operate across executives, creatives, engineers, and external partners.
