The HR Business Partner model has been in operation within NHS Dumfries & Galloway for over ten years and is a very strong positive operating model for both the HR Team and the Directorates we support. It is therefore essential that the successful applicant can form strong positive working relationships with the staff and managers within the directorates that they support as this is critical to the continued successful delivery of this model.
This role is complex and the successful candidate will be involved in HR matters across the employee lifecycle therefore this role presents a really exciting opportunity for someone who is ready for the next step in their HR career. Candidates should have achieved Chartered CIPD or be working towards this and have experience across a number of HR roles.
The post holder will take a lead role in strategic and operational Workforce practice and development within their defined directorate and will operate as a member of the Directorates multi disciplinary senior management team.
As a member of the senior HR team the post holder will work collaboratively with Workforce Directorate colleagues to define service level standards, ensuring that proactive, safe, consistent and effective practices are in place to meet the Organisations objectives, and the Workforce Directorates strategy, within budgetary constraints.
The post holder will ensure the delivery of an effective HR service for all employment matters related to all staff within the employee lifecycle. The post also enables the opportunity to be involved and lead on defined corporate / cross directorate / board wide and specific workforce focused project work again offering a level of variety to the role.
