Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role located in London for a Tutor. The Tutor will be responsible for providing personalized instruction to students across Maths, English, or Science subjects at various levels, including Primary, KS3, GCSE, and A-Level. Responsibilities include planning and delivering lessons, tracking students’ progress, tailoring strategies for individual needs, and preparing students for exams such as 11+ and A-Levels. Additionally, the Tutor will contribute to a supportive and engaging learning environment, fostering academic growth and confidence in students.

Qualifications

• Strong subject knowledge in Maths, English, and/or Science at Primary, KS3, GCSE, or A-Level
• Proficiency in lesson planning, curriculum delivery, and adjusting teaching strategies to individual learning needs
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills to engage and inspire students
• Experience in exam preparation, particularly for 11+ and A-Level exams, is highly desirable
• Passion for education, patience, and a student-centered approach to teaching
• Ability to collaborate with parents and colleagues to ensure optimal support for students
• Prior tutoring or teaching experience is an advantage
• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field or equivalent academic qualifications
