We are seeking to appoint a Café Supervisor to support the day-to-day operation of the Discovery Centre’s visitor food and drink offer. This hands-on role is central to ensuring our cafés deliver high-quality service, maintain excellent standards, and contribute to an outstanding visitor experience.
In This Role, You Will
You will be an integral part of the Discovery Centre team, working closely with the Catering Manager and Assistant Catering Manager to ensure the café offer reflects the values and high standards of Jodrell Bank.
You will have experience in a supervisory role within a catering environment and a strong understanding of customer service, food safety and health & safety practices. You’ll be organised, proactive and confident in supporting and motivating a small team in a fast-paced visitor environment.
The normal hours for this role are 28 hours per week, worked across a 7-day operation including weekends, bank holidays and occasional evening events.
The Discovery Centre is rurally located, 20 miles south of Manchester, and applicants will need their own means of transportation in order to travel to and from work.
