Higher Level Teaching Assistant – St Andrew’s Primary School Full Time NEW

We are seeking a committed and enthusiastic Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) to join our dedicated team at St Andrew’s CE Primary School, Fontmell Magna. This is a classroom‑based role working closely with teachers, support staff and pupils to support high‑quality teaching and learning.

You will deliver agreed learning activities, support pupils of all abilities, and contribute positively to an inclusive school environment. The role includes planning and delivering learning activities and providing classroom cover during PPA time under an agreed system of supervision.

Applications are welcomed from candidates who are HLTA qualified or currently working towards the qualification. We would be particularly interested in applicants with strengths or experience in Art, Music or Physical Education, though all suitably qualified and enthusiastic candidates are encouraged to apply.

The post is up to 37 hours per week, and part-time, job-share, and flexible working patterns will be considered. Please specify your preferred hours within your application.

Pay award pending. The salary quoted reflects the annual salary for the position at the time of advertising. Payment will be made in equal monthly instalments and will be adjusted at the start of employment, and again if employment ends partway through the school year, to ensure the correct salary is paid for work completed during the academic year.
