We are recruiting a full-time Capital Project Manager to lead and support the delivery of capital projects across the Trust, ensuring they meet key objectives and support our overall strategic plans
You’ll have responsibility for the design, development and delivery of complex projects across our sites, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget and to the highest standards. From modernising healthcare facilities and ensuring compliance with NHS and statutory regulations, to driving innovation in sustainable design, this role offers both challenge and reward in equal measure.

Detailed Job Description And Main Responsibilities
Fulfil the role of Capital Project Manager for a number of assigned projects in line with financial limits, providing project delivery for designated schemes to ensure the successful completion of the project brief to time, cost and quality and in accordance with HTM’s, HBN’s and all other mandatory/statutory requirements.
Assist the Senior Project Managers and other team members in the day-to-day management and administration of large/complex projects, from conception to completion of the work on site. Carry out regular accompanied planned and unaccompanied ad-hoc site inspections and check, appraise and comment to the Lead Consultant on rate of progress, standard of workmanship, compliance with specification and contractor administration. Similarly, appraise health & safety on site.
Appoint and manage a multidisciplined team to include line managing the Project teams as well as appointing external contractors and consultants, monitoring their performance on the project.
Maintain project cost planning and cost control procedures to ensure a clear, balanced cost framework within which to produce and deliver a successful design and to ensure that the agreed budget is the maximum limit of expenditure.
Experience & Qualifications
HNC/Degree or equivalent qualification in a Building Services, Building or related field. and Project Management Qualification or equivalent experience
Design knowledge /experience or must be prepared to train in this field.
Extensive experience in Building Services maintenance, building maintenance and/or design and minor installation works in the construction industry or Healthcare
