🚀 Hiring: Pricing Business Lead (Fixed Term Contract)

We are looking for an experienced Pricing Business Lead to join a leading hospitality and commercial technology transformation programme. This role will be responsible for governing, designing, and delivering pricing and rate configurations across Opera Cloud and connected platforms, ensuring accurate, scalable, and compliant pricing operations across all channels.

🔹 Key Responsibilities

✅ Pricing & Rate Strategy

• Define and govern rate codes, pricing structures, packages, and promotions

• Ensure alignment between commercial objectives and system capabilities

• Validate pricing requests prior to implementation

• Assess pricing initiatives and change requests

• Conduct impact analysis across Opera Cloud, ATE, Data Platform, and distribution channels

• Translate business requirements into technical design and configuration solutions

✅ Governance & Operational Excellence

• Establish standards and governance for rate and package configuration

• Ensure pricing consistency and accuracy across all environments

• Prevent configuration issues impacting downstream systems

• Drive automation initiatives for bulk pricing updates

• Eliminate manual bottlenecks and improve operational scalability

✅ Testing & Release Management

• Prepare and support UAT environments for pricing changes

• Define end-to-end testing requirements

• Collaborate with QA, Data, and Engineering teams to validate outputs and releases

✅ Integration & Data Management

• Manage pricing dependencies across:

• Opera Cloud
• Pricing Engines (ATE)
• Reporting Systems (OHRA)
• Data Platform
• External Channels (OTA, Meta)
• • Ensure pricing consistency across integrated systems and customer touchpoints

✅ Stakeholder Management

• Partner with Commercial and Trading teams

• Collaborate with Product, Engineering, QA, and Data teams

• Engage with external vendors, including Oracle

• Lead discussions on solution design, implementation approaches, and trade-offs

✅ Risk & Incident Management

• Monitor pricing accuracy and system performance

• Support incident investigations and root cause analysis

• Drive continuous improvement initiatives to reduce recurring issues

🎯 Required Skills & Experience

✔ Strong experience in pricing systems, rate management, or revenue management environments

✔ Hands-on experience with PMS platforms, particularly Opera Cloud

✔ Experience working with integrated systems, APIs, and data flows

✔ Ability to convert business requirements into technical solutions

✔ Experience with rate code and package configuration

✔ Understanding of OHIP APIs, analytics feeds, and system integrations

✔ Exposure to UAT, release management, and environment management

✔ Experience with automation tools or scripting for bulk pricing updates

✔ Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills

✔ Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities

✔ Ability to thrive in complex, fast-paced environments

✔ Ownership mindset with accountability for end-to-end delivery
