FIXING US is growing, and we are looking for an Account Manager (Healthcare Communications and Content) to help us manage an expanding portfolio of healthcare and pharma projects across authentic patient experience, stakeholder engagement and content production. We began 13 years ago with one patient journey. Since then, we have worked on the storytelling strategy and narrative for more than 300 patient stories across 29 countries globally, becoming a trusted specialist partner to many of the world’s largest healthcare companies.About FIXING USFIXING US is an authentic healthcare communications and content company. We work across clinical development, medical affairs, market access, policy, brand, internal engagement and public campaigns, creating content and engagement projects rooted in real human experience. In an age of AI-generated everything, we believe authentic human stories are becoming more valuable, not less. Our work is built around real people, careful process, contributor protection and content that healthcare teams can trust. The RoleThis is an agency-side role, but not a conventional media, advertising or content-buying role. We need someone who understands the realities of pharma: global and local teams, cross-functional stakeholders, medical and compliance review, shifting timelines, sensitive contributors and the need to keep clients confident while work moves forward. You will help manage healthcare communications and content projects from briefing through to delivery. This will include client coordination, timelines, meeting notes, project documentation, review cycles, production planning and post-production follow-up.You do not need to be a filmmaker, but you do need to understand how content is made, how pharma projects move, and how to keep multiple stakeholders aligned across global and local teams. Many client relationships begin with individual projects. An important part of this role will be helping to nurture deeper and more collaborative relationships with clients over time, so that we can better understand their wider needs and challenges, become a more relevant part of their work, and help secure further projects with them. This role is therefore not only about keeping projects on track. It is also about helping clients experience FIXING US as a thoughtful, dependable and commercially relevant partner. What we are looking forWe are looking for someone with experience in healthcare communications, pharma, medical education, patient engagement, content production or a client-side healthcare role. You should be confident managing clients, organising complex workstreams, writing clearly and turning discussions into actions. The right person will understand that pharma projects are rarely linear. Global teams, local market needs, agency partners, medical reviewers and contributors all need careful coordination. You will need to be organised, adaptable and commercially aware, while also being thoughtful about the people whose stories sit at the heart of the work.We are especially interested in people who are comfortable working on short films and other short-form content rather than longer-form editorial or broadcast projects, and who understand the specific demands of content featuring real patients, caregivers and professionals. What you will doYou will manage day-to-day client communication, support project timelines and status updates, coordinate with internal production and editorial teams, help prepare proposals and scopes of work, and track feedback, approvals and delivery milestones. You will also help protect the quality of the work, making sure sensitive healthcare stories are handled properly, clients feel supported, and the final outputs reflect both the human truth of the story and the commercial needs of the project. The work itself may include short films and related content for internal audiences, as well as content that is deployed externally by clients and partners, including through social media where relevant. The person who will thrive hereYou are calm under pressure, comfortable with ambiguity and good at keeping people aligned. You can speak to senior clients, chase actions without sounding transactional, and bring structure to fast-moving projects. You care about healthcare, people and the role authentic experience can play in changing how organisations think and act. You are also excited by the chance to join a specialist company at a point of continued growth.Details· Role: Account Manager· Sector: Healthcare communications, pharma content and patient engagement· Location: UK preferred, hybrid or remote considered· Type: Full-time or flexible contract depending on candidate· Start: As soon as possibleHow to applyIf this sounds like you, please email a short cover note and CV to Anthony Whitington at anthony@fixingus.com, with a brief explanation of why this role interests you and your salary expectations.
