Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Operations Registered Manager role based in the London Area, United Kingdom. The Operations Registered Manager will oversee day-to-day operational delivery of services, ensuring that programs for children and young people with disabilities and complex needs are safe, effective, and aligned with regulatory standards. Responsibilities include managing staff teams, coordinating rotas, supervising care practices, and promoting a high-quality, person-centered culture. The role involves working closely with clients, families, and external partners to assess needs, develop support plans, and monitor outcomes. The Operations Registered Manager will also manage budgets, oversee compliance with policies and statutory requirements, support inspections and audits, and lead continuous improvement initiatives across the service.
Qualifications

• Proven experience in operational management within health, social care, or disability services, ideally supporting children and young people with complex needs.
• Strong leadership and people management skills, including team supervision, performance management, and staff development.
• Thorough understanding of person-centered practice, safeguarding, risk management, and regulatory requirements in the UK (e.g., CQC or equivalent frameworks).
• Excellent communication, partnership-building, and conflict-resolution skills when working with clients, families, staff, and external agencies.
• Competence in service planning, scheduling, and resource allocation, with the ability to balance quality, safety, and efficiency.
• Good organizational and administrative skills, including report writing, record keeping, and use of digital systems for monitoring and documentation.
• Relevant professional qualification in social care, health, education, or management (e.g., Level 5 Diploma in Leadership for Health and Social Care or equivalent), or willingness to work toward it.
• Demonstrated commitment to equality, diversity, and inclusion, and to promoting independence, dignity, and rights of people with disabilities.
• Ability to work on-site full time in the London Area, with flexibility to respond to service needs, including occasional evenings or weekends if required.
