Electrical Design Lead – Manchester – Permanent
Overview
Fuel Recruitment is working with a leading telecommunications infrastructure organisation that’s looking for an experienced Electrical Design Lead to join their growing team. This role will support the delivery of high-quality electrical, and telecoms designs as part of mobile infrastructure rollout projects across the UK.
You’ll provide technical leadership from feasibility through to handover, ensuring all designs are safe, compliant and practical to deliver. The position involves close collaboration with internal engineering teams and external stakeholders to drive successful project outcomes

Key Responsibiliti
- esAct as the qualified Electrical QA for telecoms projects, ensuring compliance with all regulatory and industry standar
- dsProduce, review and approve electrical designs, including power, earthing, protection systems and transmission routi
- ngLead design delivery for new builds, upgrades, modifications and equipment replacement projec
- tsCarry out feasibility assessments considering structural, RF, power, access and cost constrain
- tsCollaborate with internal teams including Radio, Transmission, Build, Civils and Power to deliver integrated solutio

- nceProven experience in electrical engineering, ideally within telecoms or electrical utilit
- iesExperience working within the NERS industry and/or with an
