The role
This is a full-time, entry-level position designed for someone starting their career in financial analysis or commercial research. You will operate in a hybrid capacity. In this structure, you will spend part of your week focusing on independent analysis from home, and the remaining days collaborating in face-to-face workshops with the team. Your immediate focus will be supporting our engagement with a global retail investment group. Here, you will help audit, reconstruct, and verify the financial assumptions underlying their major portfolio decisions. You will spend less time on routine data entry and more time learning to evaluate the underlying commercial logic of complex business units.

What you will be doing

• Analyze client datasets from active retail systems to identify patterns in transactional volume, performance trends, and underlying costs.
• Help construct and test Excel-based financial models to evaluate how changes in business conditions affect theoretical projections.
• Review client files and historical performance records to extract key valuation data.
• Prepare clear, logic-driven draft charts and tables that summarize our findings for project reviews.
• Participate in internal work sessions where the team debates the viability of client business plans.
• Collaborate with senior principals to verify that our advisory work is built on solid, verifiable datasets.

What you bring

• An academic background in finance, economics, engineering, mathematics, or a similar quantitative discipline.
• Strong foundational skills in Microsoft Excel, including familiarity with formulas, logic functions, and basic data structuring.
