Role SummaryWe have an opportunity for a Hospital Executive to join our sales team. You will support the implementation of discharge policies that enable the registration of patients to the Nightingale Home Delivery Service. The role involves working in partnership with NHS Trusts to ensure a safe and effective transition from the acute setting into the community.This is an entry-level opportunity to begin a career in medical sales.The role is field-based and will require travel across the territory, including occasional overnight stays.The territory includes Bristol, Bath, Dorset and BOB.Key ResponsibilitiesThe following outlines the core responsibilities of the role and is not intended to be exhaustive:Reporting directly to the Regional Business ManagerDelivering and exceeding agreed New Consumer RegistrationsProviding support at the point of care for patients being discharged homeTraining clinical staff on best practices for safe discharge using Nightingale, including medical device usageDeveloping a thorough understanding of the transition process between secondary and primary care within the NHSBuilding knowledge of how a Dispensing Appliance Contractor operatesProviding effective weekly updates via company IT systems (CRM, calendar management, monthly activity reports)Supporting partner Trusts with the provision, promotion and implementation of ‘hospital to home’ discharge products delivered via the home delivery serviceSupporting partner organisations with formulary implementation and product guidanceDelivering training to healthcare professionals on discharge packs and associated appliancesWorking closely with the regional team to support delivery of key projects across the territoryBuilding strong customer relationships and promoting products and services to NHS and private healthcare customersExperience RequiredExcellent communication and presentation skillsDynamic, driven and motivated to build a career in medical salesComfortable working in a target-driven environmentConfident, articulate and a strong relationship builderHighly self-motivated, resilient and able to deliver results in a competitive environmentWell organised with the ability to plan weekly and monthly activity effectivelyAble to work independently as well as collaboratively within a teamStrong mindset with the ability to influence and bring others on boardDesirable (but not essential)Clinical backgroundExperience in customer-facing roles or front-of-house salesCommercial or business acumen
