As a growing business, we are looking for a highly organised and proactive Finance & Operations Executive to support and improve our day-to-day financial operations.

The Role

This is a broad and hands-on role responsible for supporting the smooth running of the company’s finance and operational administration functions.

You will work closely with customers, suppliers, external accountants, and internal teams to ensure financial processes are accurate, efficient, and well managed.

This role is ideal for someone who enjoys taking ownership, improving processes, and working within a fast-paced and growing business environment.

Key Responsibilities

Billing & Accounts Receivable

• Prepare and issue customer invoices
• Manage recurring billing processes
• Set up and manage customer Direct Debits
• Monitor customer accounts and manage debt collection
• Respond to customer invoice and payment queries
• Allocate and reconcile incoming payments and bank transactions

Accounts Payable

• Process and record supplier invoices
• Raise and manage purchase orders
• Verify supplier invoices against approved costs
• Prepare supplier payment runs and remittances
• Reconcile supplier accounts and bank transactions

Payroll & Expenses

• Process employee expenses
• Liaise with external payroll providers
• Support payroll administration and staff payments
• Maintain accurate payroll records and supporting documentation

Finance Administration & Operations

• Assist with month-end finance processes
• Support customer onboarding documentation and financial information requests
• Assist external accountants and advisors where required
• Support R&D tax claim administration
• Help develop and improve internal financial systems, controls, and automation
• Maintain accurate records and ensure compliance with company procedures

Skills & ExperienceEssential

• Previous experience in a finance, accounts, or bookkeeping role
• Understanding of accounts payable and accounts receivable processes
• Experience using accounting software (e.g. Xero, Sage, QuickBooks or similar)
• Strong Excel and administrative skills
• Excellent communication and organisational skills

Desirable

• Experience in a telecoms, technology, or services business
• Experience working within a small or growing company
• Exposure to payroll administration
• Experience improving financial processes or automation

Working Arrangements

This is a full-time office-based role located in Canary Wharf, London, working Monday to Friday.
