We are looking for an organised, proactive, and people-focused Project Support Officer to help coordinate and support the delivery of impactful programmes and projects.

The Role

As a Project Support Officer, you will play a key role in supporting the smooth planning, coordination, administration, and delivery of projects across the organisation. You will work closely with the leadership team, associates, partners, and community stakeholders to ensure projects are delivered efficiently and professionally.

This is an ideal opportunity for someone who is highly organised, passionate about community impact, and looking to gain valuable experience within project coordination, operations, programme management, and the social impact sector.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide day-to-day administrative and operational support across projects and programmes.

• Coordinate meetings, workshops, training sessions, and community events.

• Maintain project plans, trackers, reports, and documentation.

• Support monitoring and evaluation activities, including collecting feedback and impact data.

• Liaise with stakeholders, partners, suppliers, and participants professionally.

• Support communications, scheduling, and follow-up actions.

• Assist with funding reporting requirements and compliance documentation.

• Help ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope, and aligned with organisational values.

• Support social impact reporting and evidence gathering.

• Assist with general business and operational administration where required.

• Essential Skills & Experience

• Strong organisational and time management skills.

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

• Ability to manage multiple priorities and work independently.

• Good IT skills including Microsoft Office, Google Workspace, and online systems.

• Experience supporting projects, events, programmes, or administration.

• Strong attention to detail and professionalism.

• Passion for community impact and supporting people.

Desirable

• Experience within the charity, CIC, education, employability, HR, or community sector.

• Knowledge of project management tools or CRM systems.

• Experience supporting funded programmes or social impact projects.

• CIPD, project management, administration, or business-related qualification.
