Evening and weekend availability is a firm requirement of this role and patients are at the centre of everything we do here, so flexibility and dedication to the job are essential. As a Clinical Pharmacist Independent Prescriber you will provide safe, effective and personalised treatment to patients with a wide range of clinical needs. Collaboration is central to how we work. You will be part of a multidisciplinary team, contributing to the development of clinical pathways, supporting patient and staff education, and playing an active part in driving better treatment outcomes in one of the most rapidly evolving areas of modern healthcare. Key responsibilitiesClinically check and review CBPM prescriptions for safety and accuracy. Prescribe medicines as an Independent Prescriber, tailoring treatments to individual patient needs. Provide expert guidance to prescribers and patients on treatment options. Maintain accurate patient records in line with GPhC standards. Support the dispensary team by handling complex clinical queries. Deliver education and training on CBPM to patients, clinicians, and staff. Collaborate with the wider team to streamline processes and improve outcomes.
