Role Overview
We are hiring for one of our clients seeking a Country House Assistant Manager to support the daily operations of a hospitality property. This role involves assisting in delivering high-quality guest services, managing operational standards, and supporting team performance.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver consistent, high-quality guest service and maintain a welcoming environment
- Support front-of-house operations and ensure cleanliness and maintenance standards are met
- Coordinate with maintenance teams to address repairs and ensure overall property upkeep
- Assist in supervising staff, promoting teamwork, and maintaining a positive working environment
- Work with internal teams on health & safety, stock control, and operational reporting
- Provide cover for the House Manager during absences, including scheduled leave
Requirements
- Previous experience in hospitality or tourism operations (e.g., Assistant Manager, Hotel Operations, or similar roles)
- Strong customer service and team leadership skills
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends
