Whether you’re already in the construction supply sector or bring experience managing major accounts in a commercial environment, you’ll understand the importance of strong relationships and delivering consistent value. We’re now looking for a Head of Major Accounts – South to take ownership of our most commercially significant customers within your region. This is a strategic leadership role, focused on driving long-term growth, strengthening key partnerships, and delivering strong commercial performance.

What you’ll be doing:

• Developing and delivering a regional major accounts strategy aligned to wider business objectives
• Owning and managing relationships with key national and strategic customers
• Driving sustainable growth through structured account planning and joint business initiatives
• Identifying and converting new commercial opportunities within existing major accounts
• Leading negotiations on contracts, pricing, and commercial agreements
• Acting as the senior escalation point for complex customer or commercial challenges
• Collaborating with internal teams including sales, operations, finance, supply chain, and marketing
• Monitoring performance, market trends, and competitor activity to inform decision-making
• Ensuring accurate forecasting, budgeting, and reporting across your account portfolio
• Representing the business at senior customer meetings, negotiations, and industry events

• Proven experience managing and growing large, strategic customer accounts
• Strong commercial awareness, including pricing, margin, and contract management
• Confidence building relationships at a senior level
• Excellent communication and influencing skills
• Strong analytical approach with the ability to interpret performance data
• A solution-focused mindset and ability to manage complex challenges
• Experience within construction, civils, or a related sector is advantageous
