Our Junior Clinical Fellow posts are an ideal opportunity to work in a supportiveclinical environment with dedicated non-clinical time for portfolio development.The posts will have dedicated non-clinical time (20% of rota time) to develop a portfolio of your choice, ideas include: Educational Fellow– 6 months (with an option to progress SIM training) Quality Improvement Fellow – 1 year Ultrasound Fellow- 1 year (with a commitment to sign off level 1 competence by the end).Feedback From Trainees Has Been Extremely Positive Including‘I have felt fully supported and able to discuss any issues; I was fully aware what was expected of me and felt well included in the ED Team’.‘Sim teaching here has been so useful and always highly relevant as well as engaging and interactive’.Welsh and/or English speakers are equally welcome to apply.These are the current applicable pay scales; however, these may change upon implementation of the framework agreement for reform to the terms and conditions of service for resident doctors and dentists in Wales.Further details can be found at BMA+-+Framework+Agreement+Wales.The successful candidates will be part of a team of 13 junior doctors in a busy district general hospital Emergency Department (ED). You will workalongside nine middle grade doctors & eight consultants in a multi-disciplinary team including ENPs and ACPs providing front line care to anundifferentiated case mix. The successful applicant will participate in a full shift rota providing 24-hour shop floor cover. The department provides a consultant led service with ample opportunity for supervision. There is direct consultant shop floor cover approximately 12 hours a day, 7 days a week.Cwm Taf Morgannwg University Health Board is part of the NHS Wales family.
